Madeira Beach 5K Sunset Series

If you love to be active by the water and are planning to visit Madeira Beach this August, you’re in for a real treat!

The next race in the Madeira Beach 5K Sunset Series will take place on Friday, August 3rd.

Two previous races took place in June and July. Perfect for runners who love to participate in races but hate having to wake up at the crack of dawn for other races, this 5K is designed to be a pleasant beachside evening run.

The scenic course will be full of breathtaking views, including the spectacular sunset over Madeira Beach. The race will take place right on the beach, and runners will have the added challenge of running through sand.

After the race, stroll on over to Hooters (192 Johns Pass Boardwalk) for drinks and snacks, available free to all registered runners! A race wristband gets you two drink tickets and one food ticket.

Same-day registration is from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at John’s Pass Park Shelter, located at 12901 Gulf Boulevard in Madeira Beach. Same-day registration costs just $35 and includes a race visor and admission to the 5K afterparty. Free parking is available, but get there early—it’s first come, first served.
